April 14, 2026:  I had breakfast at “balder coffee,” a café that opened this April in Hattori Ryokuchi Park. It had a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. April 28, 2026: Had breakfast at “balder coffee,” in Hattori Ryokuchi Park.  It looks like the natural hot spring facility “Suishun,” which has been under construction here for quite some time, is about to open soon.

April 11, 2026: On a sunny Saturday afternoon that felt like early summer, I had lunch in Nara and, for the first time in a while, visited the Twelve Heavenly Generals at Shin Yakushiji. They were remarkably solemn and awe inspiring. I also visited the Great Buddha at Todaiji.
