May 16, 2026: On a sunny Saturday afternoon that felt more like summer at 28°C, I took a stroll through Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka and visited the ongoing Rose Festival. The park was lively and bustling, filled not only with families but also with many young couples enjoying the beautiful day. “Gather roses while you may!” 

May 13, 2026: Had dinner at Burger King in Minami Senri, Osaka. May 14, 2026: Had breakfast at McDonald’s in Hattori Ryokuchi, Osaka. May 15, 2026: Had lunch at KFC in Expo City, Osaka. I suddenly found myself craving KFC—something I absolutely loved when I was younger—so I decided to visit the restaurant at Expo City for lunch for the first time in quite a while. What impressed me most was how reasonable it was—an all-you-can-eat buffet for just ¥2,980, including not only fried chicken and soft drinks, but also a wide variety of side dishes, soups, salads, pot-au-feu, pasta, desserts, and more. I think an all-you-can-eat KFC is quite rare, and this restaurant was not only unique but also very comfortable, with kind and attentive staff that made the whole experience even better. Visiting  KFC  headquarters in  Louisville  on July 6, 1990, remains a wonderful and nostalgic memory for me.
