March 30, 2026: Had breakfast at the Starbucks in Hattori Ryokuchi Park, right next to my home in Osaka. The cherry blossoms were already close to full bloom and absolutely beautiful. As I grow older, I feel myself becoming more and more captivated by their beauty. This park allows you to appreciate the changing seasons throughout the year—from cherry blossoms and tulips in the spring, to lush greenery in the summer, to cosmos flowers and autumn leaves in the fall, and plum blossoms in the winter. The cherry blossoms that bloom gloriously on the branches are elegant and beautiful, but those that quietly bloom directly from the trunk of an old tree are said to carry messages of strength, hope, and an indomitable spirit. Nighttime cherry blossoms are incredibly magical!
