January 14-15, 2024: Visited Hotel Urashima in Katsuura, Wakayama, which is famous for its hot springs, with my elder daughter. This hotel is a nostalgic place where our family visited in 1989 and 1995. The most famous hot spring here is the natural open-air bath inside a cave called “Bokido” that was built inside a cave created by the waves’ eroding effect on the rocks. As its name suggests, you will feel so nice that you will forget to leave.

May 19, 2025: Advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka

I saw an advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka on May 19, 2025. I was impressed by the physical abilities of the well-trained 62-year-old Tom Cruise. I didn’t feel that the 169 minutes were too long. The lunch mission was a Whopper at Burger King!! When I go to the movie theater, my important mission is not only to watch the movie but also to eat popcorn.
