March 11, 2025, Burakuri-cho shopping street in Wakayama

March 11, 2025, Visited my hometown of Wakayama for personal reasons. I was planning to have lunch at "Burakuri-cho,” but I was surprised to see how deserted it had become. The city center of Wakayama is around Wakayama Castle, and in the past, the Burakuri-cho shopping street used to be bustling with people. However, it has now turned into a shuttered shopping district.

May 19, 2025: Advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka

I saw an advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka on May 19, 2025. I was impressed by the physical abilities of the well-trained 62-year-old Tom Cruise. I didn’t feel that the 169 minutes were too long. The lunch mission was a Whopper at Burger King!! When I go to the movie theater, my important mission is not only to watch the movie but also to eat popcorn.
