March 1, 2026: Enjoyed Osaka’s famous kushikatsu for lunch in Shinsekai, Tennoji on Sunday afternoon.















Kushikatsu is a local specialty that originated in Osaka. It consists of meat, vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients skewered on sticks, coated in batter, and deep-fried in oil. At this restaurant, if you order the set, it comes with either doteyaki or kimchi.

May 19, 2025: Advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka

I saw an advance screening of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in Osaka on May 19, 2025. I was impressed by the physical abilities of the well-trained 62-year-old Tom Cruise. I didn’t feel that the 169 minutes were too long. The lunch mission was a Whopper at Burger King!! When I go to the movie theater, my important mission is not only to watch the movie but also to eat popcorn.
