June 1, 2026: Opening of the Hattori Ryokuchi Spa Complex

June 1, 2026: The comprehensive spa complex that had been under construction in Hattori Ryokuchi Park for more than two years has finally been completed.









May 31, 2026: A long-awaited spa complex has finally opened just a short walk from my home. With a variety of natural hot springs, including indoor and open-air baths, along with a stone sauna, restaurants, a fitness gym, and relaxation facilities, it’s the perfect place to unwind. I spent a relaxing Sunday night there.

















May 30, 2026: Enjoyed a pasta lunch at a stylish new café in this comprehensive spa complex.

October 5, 2025: Watched the movie "One Battle After Another" in Minoh, Osaka

October 5, 2025: On Sunday evening in Minoh, Osaka, I watched the movie "One Battle After Another." It was a fast-paced and entertaining film with a very distinctive atmosphere. I was quite surprised to see the karate kata "Heian Nidan" featured in the movie. After the movie, I enjoyed my favorite Osaka specialty, okonomiyaki. I watched the movie "Killers of the Flower Moon" two years ago. Both "One Battle after Another" and "Killers of the Flower Moon" star Leonardo DiCaprio and deal with social issues in the United States, but their styles are completely different. The former is fast-paced and entertainment-oriented, treating social themes lightly, while the latter portrays a historical tragedy with depth, delving deeply into moral and racial issues. Through both films, DiCaprio’s remarkable range as an actor truly stands out.

October 18, 2025: Had lunch at Osaka Itami Airport. The long summer has come to an end, and on this drizzly weekend at Itami, there’s a hint of autumn in the air. They say the real autumn will arrive starting next week. October 19, 2025: On Sunday morning, I had breakfast at the Starbucks in Hattori Ryokuchi Park.
