Aug.13, 2020: Visited graves of the Sogo family in intense heat, as a Japanese custom during Obon. The third mourning of my wife is coming soon. My relegion is a Japanese Zen Buddhism sect called Soto. The Soto sect in Japan was introduced by Dogen. In the Soto sect, meditators face a wall of Zendo hall and sit in lotus position. Life is full of ups and downs, and I will just keep moving forward with the spirit of Daruma. “Fall seven times and up eight times !!”

Nov. 30, 2019: I had an opportunity to listen to on “Regeneration Strategy of Japanese Agriculture” by Mr. Kenzo Onoi at Waseda Alumni Club in Osaka. It was very impressive with a lot of groundbreaking information and analysis.
