March 11, 2025, Visited my hometown of Wakayama for personal reasons. I was planning to have lunch at "Burakuri-cho,” but I was surprised to see how deserted it had become. The city center of Wakayama is around Wakayama Castle, and in the past, the Burakuri-cho shopping street used to be bustling with people. However, it has now turned into a shuttered shopping district. ~ Burakuri-cho in the 1960s ~
